The curriculum for toddlers is focused on activities that reinforce the vocabulary of colors, numbers and shapes. By reading, creating, sharing, playing, using the five senses, and direct instruction, your child will learn to distinguish and explore the wider world.
Our teachers in this class are active, vibrant caring individuals trained to pay keen attention to fostering appropriate group interactions, learning to share, and positive communication. A written toddler report is given to parents regularly to share information about the behavior of their child, their daily activities, and any out-of-ordinary behavior of note.
Each day is broken up into 30 minute blocks where children take part in different activities. Starting the day with the family greeting, children move on to gross motor skills, morning snack, handwashing and clean up, outdoor fun, numbers, arts & crafts, potty time, story time, and nap time. We follow a routine schedule complete with outdoor fun and rainy day alternatives.
