All classrooms toys and materials are detail sanitized, toys that are mouthed are also removed from the classroom during the day. Children are taught to wash hands and Teachers wear gloves while changing diapers, wiping noses and of course during diaper changes; in addition to adhering to CDC handwashing standards.
Further, meals and snacks are given in the classroom for children under the age of three. Separate eating spaces further protects against the spread of germs, and in-classroom meals for children under three allows our staff to more closely monitor and help develop eating skills.
Our staff understands the importance of strong, effective communication with parents and guardians. If your child has specific needs, please let us know! You will always be kept in the loop with your child’s activities throughout the day by a written log sent to your email. Boo-boos and minor incidences are documented via a written report. To further keep you connected, we have classroom, playground and parking lot camera monitors in the hallway so you can see into the classroom after you drop your child off and before you pick them up. We know the more informed you are about the care your child receives the better experience you and your child will have at Hatch House.
