Our preschool classroom creates a foundation for basic school preparedness. The skills learned here are essential as children ready themselves for our more structured pre-k programs.
We address multiple learning styles by incorporating a variety of learning experiences throughout each day – art, language, music, science, mathematics, movement, and dramatic play. We use open ended materials to allow children to grasp concrete ideas at their own pace while still nurturing their curiosity and “but why?” phase.
We regularly schedule visitors from our local community – artists, parent book readers, etc. – making the learning experience memorable. Our preschool teachers are experienced educators, who are very patient yet have strong classroom and behavior management skills.
As your child gets settled into their routine schedule they’re introduced to new ways of learning and becoming independent thinkers. They’re met with more diversity in the classroom while continuing to hone the skills they’ve learned from previous lessons. While the classroom and lessons diversify and become more advanced, children are still following a regular schedule.
