Effective communication with parents is essential to a quality program. In order to facilitate this process at our schools we utilize both formal and informal tools to communicate with our partners—you, the parent.
On a daily basis our teachers are trained to communicate a positive element of your child’s activities throughout the day. Our response to the question and many others that you will have when your child is at school is simple really. We begin with the premise that the most effective means of limiting misunderstandings is to provide ongoing, frequent, and clear lines of communication from the jump start. The parents of children in our care are assured that they will be informed immediately about any concerns or challenges that your child encounters.
Also, a daily written log is sent out directly to your email (either daily, weekly, or monthly) depending upon the age of the child. You will also be receiving pictures/videos/special moments of your child’s day via email or using the Tadpoles app. Each classroom has a dedicated parent family information board where you can peruse current calendars, menus and lesson plans. The parent board helps you to stay connected with the monthly curricular activities in your child’s class.
The hallway monitors also serves as a viewing area transmitting what is occurring in your child’s class after you have dropped-off. School wide newsletters also round out our efforts to capture and present information that is timely and important. Our philosophy is that the more you know about the care your child receives, the more comfortable you’ll be
