It is vital that you and your child feel that Hatch House School is the right match for your family. During your tour, we will introduce you to your child’s potential new class, discuss our philosophy of early education, and learn about your needs for your child. We are always available for any questions or concerns either during or follow ups after the tour, just reach out, we value your feedback.
In order to be enrolled, all parents must complete a tour of the school and meet with the Director. If the child did not participate in the initial tour, the Director must meet with the child prior to registration. Parents should confirm availability to ensure that space is still available in the class in which you would like to have your child enrolled in, depending on the start date.
All enrollment forms, proof of state required childhood immunizations, and registration fees must be provided prior to the first day of school. In order to ease the transition into your child’s new school we will also schedule a mandatory one-hour familiarization site-visit prior to your child’s first day at school.
Upon enrollment, parent volunteers are always welcomed as story time readers, or to assist in classroom holiday festivities, as examples. If you volunteer on a regular or frequent basis, we will ask you to provide personal information for background checks, also to complete a notarized affidavit, and attend a short orientation session. All parents are members of our PIE (parent-involvement in education) group. The PIE group meets on a quarterly basis to garner input and involvement from our families.
